Obesity Workshop was hatched last February when I had a meeting with Dr Rosa Allyn G Sy .Realizing that obesity is one of the risks factors of many diseases, we targeted all different categories of health care providers.

We targeted 100 participants and got 11 more. It was a well attended workshop and, if it did not rain more delegates could have come. All the participants enjoyed and learned more than they have expected. The speakers were all experts in their fields, and shared a lot to all.
The national officers were in full support of the activity as speakers, coordinators and even had Dr. Florentino as the official photographer.
The workshop was made possible through an unrestricted CME grant from Abbott, which conducted weight measurement BMI calculation for all interested participants
